Develop a Custom AI Agent for Business Process Automation

A specific process, not a general capability: our purchase requisition approval. A requisition arrives by email, someone checks it against budget, routes it to the right approver by amount and cost centre, chases the approver, and files the outcome. It takes four days on average and two of those are chasing. We want an agent that reads the requisition, pulls the budget position, determines the approver from our delegation matrix, and manages the chase. The approval decision stays human — the agent never approves anything, including the small ones. The delegation matrix is genuinely complicated and has exceptions. Encoding it correctly is most of the work; get it wrong and a requisition goes to someone with no authority to approve it.
