Description

We are a small manufacturer selling technical components, and our website chat is currently a form that emails sales@. Most enquiries are people trying to work out whether a part fits their application, and answering that badly loses the sale twice — once now, and once when they associate us with a wrong answer. We want a chatbot grounded strictly in our product datasheets and compatibility tables. When the answer is in the data it should answer with the spec and link the datasheet. When it is not — and for a lot of application questions it will not be — it should collect the application details and pass them to a sales engineer. We would rather it hand over too often than guess once.
