Description

Our no-show rate is 18% and our phone lines are busiest exactly when our staff are checking patients in. Both problems are scheduling problems. We want an agent that handles booking, rescheduling and cancellation across nine clinicians with different appointment types and durations, plus a reminder sequence that lets a patient reschedule by reply instead of calling. The reschedule-by-reply path is the one we think moves the no-show number. Clinician calendars are the source of truth and double-booking is unacceptable. Concurrency matters here — two patients taking the same slot at the same moment must be handled properly, not hopefully.
